Team Emily is teaming up with Salty Sailing to offer these theory courses.
Day skipper theory course: £750
Yachtmaster theory: £850
You can do this cheaper online, but will you? We form small groups and make the learning both interactive and fun. Max eight students per group.
The RYA over the years has added to the syllabus without taking much out. The yachtmaster theory is a challenging course that involves 6 classroom days followed by 6 hours of exams. Yuk! Its saving grace is that once you have passed this course your practical exam will seem like a fun day out.
The dayskipper theory is a prerequisite for the yachtmaster theory. We need five classroom days and a morning for the exams. No previous knowledge needed.
